Microsoft has taken a progressive approach to roll out its latest Windows 10 feature update, the May 2019, over the last several months, however, it’s now available for everybody. In an update from the release status page, Microsoft announces that the May 2019 Update is prepared for broad deployment for all users through Windows Update.”
The movement comes only over four months since the update’s May 21 launch. Within the intervening months, Microsoft has worked to squash various bugs that cropped up, and nearly all of them are now categorized as resolved or mitigated.
This follows the same shift in July, when Microsoft said it would begin pushing the update automatically to PCs running the April 2018 Update, which was nearing its end-of-support date.
If the user has not installed the May 2019 Update yet, it must be available now through Windows Update. Within the coming weeks, the user is additionally expecting Microsoft to begin its full rollout of the 19H2 feature update, which is smaller in scope and has reached testing with Windows Insiders on the Release Preview ring.
